Alex Leader is a strategist, advisor, and founder with deep expertise at the intersection of emerging technologies, policy, and responsible innovation. He leads New Foundry, a consultancy shaping the future of AI, cybersecurity, and tech governance, and is the founder of Spotlight Security, a venture focused on advancing internet freedom and defensive cybersecurity solutions. Alex is currently leading grant-funded research supported by Open Philanthropy to evaluate large language models' cybersecurity capabilities, in partnership with NYU and other collaborators.
